‘Boalum’ Designed in 1970 and manufactured by Artemide was defined at the time by Domus Magazine as "a snake of endless light". Its structure in translucent flexible PVC sections reinforced with resin terminals make it virtually indestructible. Giving off a mellow diffused light and with endless decorative possibilities it is a very enjoyable thing to live with. The ‘Boalum’ light is represented in numerous public collections including the Museum of Modern Art in Philadelphia and the Museum of Italian Design in Milan.
