Chinese Black Lacquer Cabinet
A charming small Chinese cabinet, decorated with colourful floral and geometric motifs on a black lacquer ground. The two doors are framed by intricate key-pattern borders, with traditional dark metal hinges and a central locking plate. The decoration continues around the sides, with stylised flowers and scrolling foliage in red, green, ochre and blue.
Raised on four short square feet, the cabinet has pleasing proportions and would work equally well as a bedside cupboard or occasional storage piece.
