An unusual double height tansu with sliding louvered doors above an arrangement of drawers of varying sizes, fitted with forged iron handles, lock plates, and corner mounts. The composition combines functionality with refined proportion, typical of choba-dansu used by merchants to store documents, account books, and valuables within a shop interior. Cedar and local softwood with iron mounts and original lacquered surface.
