October Revolution. Soviet Graphic Art (Exhibition Poster)
Colour lithographic exhibition poster produced for October Revolution. Soviet Graphic Art, held at the Kupferstich-Kabinett der Staatlichen Kunstsammlungen Dresden between October 1967 and February 1968. Designed by Vladimir Lebedev, one of the leading figures of Soviet graphic modernism, the poster exemplifies his late-career synthesis of Constructivist clarity and expressive graphic rhythm. Printed in Dresden by M. Naumann, the work is signed in the stone and was issued shortly before Lebedev’s death in November 1967. The poster is in very good condition, with only minimal handling marks and light surface rubbing, with strong colour saturation throughout.
Designed by Vladimir Lebedev for the exhibition October Revolution. Soviet Graphic Art. Germany, Dresden, 1967.
