Note:
This striking example of Bianconi’s collaboration with Gino Cenedese & C. demonstrates his mastery of colour and form. While his Pezzato designs are most closely associated with Venini, he also produced a number of related works for Cenedese between 1954 and the early 1960s. The bold rectangular blocks of turquoise and red suspended within the clear wall exemplify the designer’s fascination with painterly abstraction in glass.
